Currently Looking For: Janet is looking for distinctive nonfiction and fiction. She likes biography, history, social science with an angle, and books about words and language. For mystery and other fiction she seeks strong character, plot, sense of place and style. Would love to find the American Denise Mina. Looking at some memoir– in addition to the narrator’s life there must be another element the reader learns about. Prescriptive (how to) nonfiction that is well platformed and a bit counter-intuitive.
